I was raised in a “Christian” home in central MN but I was never very interested in Christianity. I took guitar lessons when I got into my teen years and eventually picked up the bass guitar. After graduating from high school I was offered the opportunity to join a rock band as the bass player. We played mostly around Minnesota and eventually moved to North Minneapolis. It seemed that I was continuously approached by Christians attempting to witness to me whether by a neighbor or by a stranger picking me up hitchhiking. A neighbor eventually invited me and my wife over to dinner and gave me a Keith Green cassette. I listened to it and could not put it down. It seemed like this Keith Green was the type of Christian that I had never seen nor met. The words penetrated my heart and eventually I surrendered to Christ. To be continued…
